…and speaking of greeting cards in general…

January 13, 2010

Did you know that there were not one, but two, count ’em two Bo greeting cards? They were done for Renaissance Greetings in 2005. Marian Heath bought Renaissance and I’m really not sure if they’re still in print.

My thought was to “brand” the cards with yellow backgrounds (like Olivia the pig did with the color red) but, try as I might with various greeting card companies, I was never able to get more than these two out there. Below is the promo page I did for more proposed cards.

Speaking of Christmas cards…

About 25 FOBs (Friend Of Bo) took advantage of the free Bo Nanas holiday card, printed it out, folded it in quarters and sent it out to as many people as they wanted to. I’m thinking about making this an annual thing with a new card each year. Collect ’em all!

Whadda card!

My friend and fellow MAD idiot (as in “usual gang of…”) Tom Richmond has a post up about doing work with me when I was the Humor Editor for Marian Heath Greeting Cards.

FREE Bo Nanas holiday greeting card

December 1, 2009

Who says that we’re a paperless society? Not me. And to prove it I’m gonna send you a free Bo greeting card to print out and send to your friends the old fashioned way – non-electronically.

Here’s the front of the card. The inside says, “May the season bring you big, unwieldy boxes of holiday cheer.”

All you have to do is e-mail me and I’ll send you the pdf. It’s as easy as falling off a Christmas tree.
