About me
Before becoming a cartoonist, John Kovaleski had “done time” at an ad agency, a consulting firm, a newspaper and a big, faceless corporation.
In 2003 his comic strip “Bo Nanas” was unleashed on an unsuspecting world by the fine folks at The Washington Post Writers Group.
In 2006 he became “one of the usual gang of idiots.” In other words, a contributor to MAD Magazine.
In his spare time he practices the ukulele and does the occasional escape-artist trick.
He is also taller than he is wide.
You can see more of his work at kovaleski.com

Silly question….This isn’t the same John Kovaleski that I knew a million years ago, is it? The FATHER Kovaleski that was studying to be a priest? With a brother named Tony?
Just curious….

Not a silly question, and certainly the most interesting one I’ve had all day. Nope, I’m not him. Sorry, Renee.

John,
I e-mail my boyfriend Bo Nanas every day. We like the strip, and I have a question: may I adopt Bo? I’d also like to adopt Carlyle of Kit ‘N” Carlyle. Do you think Bo would would get along with him?
Just kidding. Keep writing. You and Bo still have fans.

Were you related to the John P kovaleski that just passed this July? He was from Ct. but lived in Florida. He was in the Navy in charleston SC years ago. He was a friend and I’m trying to find out what happened to him.

I’m afraid not. Sorry.
