Used Book Sketchbook Project – “Foolproof”

kovaleski_ubsb_foolproof1

Last spring I started a new sketchbook project with my friend Sharon Birch. We bought a couple of used hardcover mysteries and, each day, we turn to the next page, pick a word or phrase and draw something relating to it. For the next few days I’ll post the more interesting results.

Right now I’m working on a similar project: creating a massive amount of drawings (this time from bound volumes of an academic journal) for a project in which I’ll be “wallpapering” them onto things – walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, dumpsters, etc.
